Peace and one love! Gwen Stefani rocks a laidback look as she pairs Rasta-inspired top with heeled boots to recording studio

Perhaps she is getting back to her reggae roots.

Gwen Stefani certainly looked festive on Thursday as she headed to the recording studio in a red, gold and green top.

The
43-year-old’s fashionable item represents the colours of the
Pan-African flag which is associated with the Rastafarian way of life,
as is reggae music.

It
certainly wouldn’t be surprising if Gwen was planning to lay down some
tracks in that genre as her band No Doubt started out making Ska tunes.

Gwen
wore the stand-out piece with fitted jeans and high heel lace up boots
as she tottered into the Hollywood, California building.

Wearing
a beige jacket and carrying a thermos drink in her hands, manicured
with a red nail polish, she flashed a peace sign to onlookers.

The singer’s scarlet pout
matched her varnish and she wore reflective sunglasses over her eyes
with her platinum blonde locks up in a scruffy hairdo.

In May 2006, the wife of Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale named her son Kingston after the capitol city of Jamaica.

Gwen
– who is also mother to four-year-old little boy Zuma – uses the
Rastafarian colours a lot in her clothing lines L.A.M.B and Harajuku
Lovers.
